So I was doodling and this idea struck me. I wonder why it didn't hit me before. OF COURSE THEY'D BE FRIENDS, WHY WOULDN'T THEY BE

THEY JUST HAVE SO MUCH IN COMMON

This is probably the stupidest thing I've drawn all week. HOORAY

By the way, just in case you're just joining us, The Aquabat is obviously the mascot for the band, The Aquabats!, and Ice-Bat is a character from a series of toys known as the Uglydolls. (Actually, there are some pretty great books for those toys as well. I mean, they're children's picture books, sure... But the humor is pretty great. And they're probably the only children's books that mention cosplaying in them. I know I was amused.)

Oh, and The Aquabats! are getting a TV show this fall, and the Uglydolls are getting a movie in a year or two, so now I officially need to find something new to inspire me that will be less likely to rise from the underground and enter into the mainstream. Yes, I am a bit of a hipster. I'm sorry.

BUT THAT DOESN'T MAKE EITHER ONE ANY LESS AWESOME

Okay, rant over. I need to stop wasting time rambling over this tiny, ridiculous sketch...

...I'm tempted to make another picture with Zubat in it as well, but that's probably overboard, and anyway, it doesn't match as well as Aquabat and Icebat do. IF ONLY THEY HAD NAMED IT POISONBAT
