Alright guys, this is the last of the Homestuck fanart until I feel like drawing more Homestuck fanart again. I drew this a while ago, but I don't think I uploaded it. I messed up on the Breath symbol, but was pretty thrilled that I managed to get the shirt and pants to be different colors despite not having too much range in my blue marker department.
no not a problem. you live and you learn, after all! :3
lineart means...well, did you draw this on the computer or by hand? because lineart is to draw the...outline, i think you call it, digitally. like on photoshop. uhhh. OH examples are good: like this: [link] the guy in the top right corner thinking of a flower. [link] i took him and drew him on the computer. i usually turn the lineart to black after im done, but he looked too good in pink, so. xD;
Oh yeah, I know that. I outlined it by hand; I only have photoshop on this weird old Mac that doesn't connect to the internet, so it's rare that I go to the trouble to do digital stuff.
I just didn't quite understand what it meant in the context you used it in. I think I get what you meant now though, thanks for explaining!
John's probably my favorite of the four main kids, and also probably one of my favorite characters in Homestuck, period. And he's also the easiest to draw and to remember HOW to draw, so that's an added bonus.
i kinda wanna lineart this. x3
What does that mean? (sorry, I'm a bit ignorant, I guess...)

but does that make sense?

but yeah this looks practically lineart-ed! the lines look really solid and something like a computer would do, which is why i was asking.
and you're welcome. :3
no really, it's awesome - john is just so cute
